About the role
We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager (Government & Defence) to lead Tsecond’s business development efforts across defence, aerospace, and public sector customers. This role requires strong knowledge of government procurement cycles, proven ability to navigate MoD, DRDO, ISRO, PSUs, and system integrators, and a track record of closing large, complex deals in regulated environments.
What you'll do
- Drive business growth in defence and public sector verticals for Tsecond’s data and AI infrastructure solutions.
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders in Ministry of Defence, DRDO, ISRO, PSUs, and system integrators.
- Lead responses to RFPs/RFIs, government tenders, and compliance documentation.
- Partner with pre-sales teams to build customized defence-compliant solutions.
- Monitor government procurement cycles and defence budgets to align business strategy.
- Represent Tsecond at defence expos, government forums, and industry conferences.
- Deliver sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and competitive insights to leadership.
Skills
- 6–12 years of experience in defence/government technology sales.
- Deep understanding of defence procurement and compliance frameworks.
- Proven record of closing large-ticket defence/government IT infrastructure deals.
- Strong industry network with defence and PSU decision-makers.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering/technology or business; MBA preferred.
